Mildred Mastin Pace

American author. Mainly a writer of non-fictional works, including a book about the Kentucky Derby. She also wrote one pony story which is a fictionalised account of the life of American racehorse hero Exterminator.

Easy to find in the USA, especially the paperback edition. Can be hard to find elsewhere but should be fairly cheap to buy from the USA even with shipping costs.
